thanks to all bros that support n giving me an idea of my fdr for my mk3 now its fine running on it , im running on a 6.9 fdr feel 5 boost 6 on a 5 minit its 44c on the motor :d

Is yours still standard setting on the motor? Cos femca istc handout motor would be sealed for the stock class. If you are running an as it is motor which means no modifications on it at all then whats wrong with my mk3 which is running on fdr 6.3 still cogging? Any response and feedbacks from anyone are welcome. Sham55 and myself are running the samea track

yup its all back to normal ( standard settings ) now its good to roll with the 6.9 fdr for now on ...

Still Cogging?? Mine is goddamn fast....on feel 6 boost 7....no cogging at all, runs very smooth....the only thing that is wrong with it is the colour.....I prefer it to be pink just like my new ride...

I believe you might be running the sp motor which seems fine. Those running on orion seems to be getting the coggs...

Can anyone give a good starting point for settings and gearing using a MK3 and an X12 10.5 motor?

Brand new SXX SS MK3 from stormer hobbies.
Car is undrivable from cogging.
X12 13.5 with 0000 timing block in.

Tried 00 timing on motor, still cogging.
Tried another sensor cable. still cogging.

Anyone offer any advise?

Gone from SPX to SXX and never had a prob with same gear on SPX.

Hey there. Im In Wellington. What are you running? gearing profiles etc and what trak do you race at? I ran mine at Manawatu on the weekend for the first time against all the other racers running Tekins and I had more than enough to keep up and in most cases i was quicker but my driving let me down If you want to talk more about it pm me on rcracer.

Kinda sucks that we buy locally, but can get no support locally

a good starting point is FDR 7.0 and boost and feel on 5

seem like nosram less problem than LRP?? i saw my friend use it without problem ...mk3..

Mk3 has a better throttle feel than the Tekin, but it's slower. It also cogged now and then with a variety of different motors. I guess I'll put it in my buggy. The Tekin goes back in the sedan. Keep working, guys.

Low speed cog with Nemesis 17.5 motor, variety of profiles and motor timing changes (-15 to +20). Even using a known good profile on MK2 with MK3 the cog is significantly worse on the bottom end. Fresh from getting the upgrade too, which turn around time and customer service was very good. Top end rip is very good, but bottom end..............

Wondering what class, motor type (17.5) and brand people that are not having issues with, are running? I'm also wondering if this could be a sensor board issue, possibly the rotor has to be closer to the board for it to work correctly.
