I think 0-3/4-5-0 is a good point to start. From there on you can see how the car, speedo and motor feel.

It been so quiet recently in this thread. Don't tell me that everyone switching to Tekin RS?!?

I have couple of questions on this SXX SS esc. Seeking for experts here to help & advise.

Let say if i am running 11.5 orion pro stock motor. Am i suppose to start with MAX out the boost & run the HIGHEST FDR and adjust the temp from there?

OR run the minimum boost & lowest FDR to start out with? The instruction never really give hint anything about very first start set up...

whatever setting you start out at, remember to temp it every minute!

I started out on boost 6 with a fdr the same as the tekin 203. Then instead of playing with fdr's, I just upped the boost one step at a time until I got to boost 10. I feel if you dont plan on ending up on boost 9 or 10, you are loosing the benefits of this speed control and its purpose.

for a 11.5 I would start at 8fdr with mid boost and just go up from there!

hope that helps a little!

You make a very good point there!! Let say if boost 10, with FDR higher. We can have lots of acceleration as well as top speed with high boost?! Pls correct me if i am wrong.

Anyone else?

thats seems to be the case with the tekin 203, most people going up another 2fdr's with the newer generation esc's. Maybe the same techniques of gearing are used with the sxx ss as well. And so far they seem to be working

Hi Guys, I have a GTB Novak ESC, will it make a big improvement if I switch
to the SXX SS, since the GTB doesnt have timing? I'm running a 10.5t motor.

Thank you
Kevin
