Too bad Reto was busy with the Euro's im sure he would have given a much better level of service, based on my past dealings with him.
Well that's the worst thing to experience during such a big race, those new ESC were only avail to "exclusivists"!!!! And I were told that 10pcs came to the shop just before the controlled practice (I did asked Reto to make the esc avail at TITC but sadly all were snapped up in 5 mins!)

Perhaps, next TITC should give handout esc as well, just like the Mini class!

I agree with that, at least all the speed would be more or less the same.

So the SS is okay to run with mod motors (5.5) on the lower punch profiles? What does the TC do different with mod motors than the SS on lower profiles?

2 days ago is arrived at my home the new SXX SS.
Just tested it for 2 mins and after the motor has started to stutter. Cecking the car i switched off the speed controlloer but after that has been impossible to switch on the Esc, was like dead and it was pretty hot while the motor was cold.
Used it with these settings 3-3-3-0 with a fdr 7.08
I changed the esc with another one and everything is working without problems.
I'm not sure that the new software has solved the issue (stuttering seems is an old problem reading the forum) because some friend has the same problem and everyone has the MkII software on his Esc.
A friend of mine had the same problem, was possible for him test a NIP SXX SS... same problem.

I'm only disappointed because was about 1 month that i was waiting for this SXX , hoping to receive some good news soon, i shipped my SXX to LRP yesterday...will see.

PS: apologize me for my crap english, thx

Can somebody give the performance differences between SPX ss and SXX ss? I had experience using a friend's SPX ss and wanted to get a stock spec esc for my self, SXX ss is one on my list.

I would gather 0.5sec per lap.

from my understanding, the sxx is on par or just below the tekin. The spx is about 0.5-1.0 sec slower than the tekin.

As you can handle the power.
I was in the beginning slower with my Tekin than I was with the old software.
The SXX drivers was also slower in the beginning than he was with his SPX.
We drive on a small indoor track with 2 cell lipo and a 10,5T so it's like mod.
He is going to race mod next race with his SXX and probably with his 10,5T.
Last race the stock class had faster lap times than the mod class were they use 5,5T with lipo.

Is there any difference between Nosram version and LRP version? What about the rest of the A main guy? Do you know what ESC were they using? I was there too (TITC) but was busy with my mod class. I participated in the Brushless class (stock 11.5t) too, replacing my friend who decided to watch rather than racing, so I had his car with his SPX ss set, but its nowhere near as fast as the others. I don't know if my set up was wrong (it was my 1st stock class race, I usually run only Mod class), from what I can remember I was using profile 8 with FDR of 5.1, motor temp was around 80deg C and it still felt like crawling compare to those faster guys.
