I was just woundering if I could replace the stock rs cap with the novak power cap (re GTX cap) ? .what will it increase if its a go to install this .

Yes. But this would be a bettter choice:

You could also use a Speedpassion/Hobbywing upgrade cap.
I have been using it for the last year on my RS Pro and its been running great.

so I shouldn't use the P cap that came with the GTX ,the newer trans cap is choice being geared towards use with lipo/brushless configurations .
