Well I have owned pretty much all of them, I buy the latest and race it awhile and if I dont like it I sell it. So far I have kept my Yok Special my TC3 my XXX-S and the (my favorite) Mission. But I agree driver and setup have more to do with winning than the car.

Default pro2

if the pro2's design is outdated, then cars similar to it (in terms of drive train design) must be obsolete as well. TRF 414, TA04, Xray, Corally...just a thought.

Tamiya TRF414M

Comes complete with option parts
High quality material use
Admirable Design
Performance? just find the special new release memorial chassis, you'll find out.

Tips: If you running on parking lot, you defenetly should not get the Yokomo style bulkhead or you will end up spending more on maintanance of the car than driving it Oh yed it's true because I had two before.

I would definitely have to say... the XRAY T1. Judging by the overall quality and characteristics of the car... it definitely should be on the top!

I agree with rking - the XRAY is definitely in a class of its own. It has every setting you can ever want, PLUS the looks and durability to match.

TC3 and XXX-S - out of the box, they are very easy to setup and drive. great parts support, too.

The old version of the Yoko hara version is good. But due to some track that need to have your chassic low, than the special yoko is better.

anyone driven the alex model????

You are very right. but out of the box the arms of the xxx-s must be change or any stupid driver hits from the side and that is it.

Other than that tc-3 is better in a way. But more X.

Just a Q, Ok. How much more money you have to spend to bring the car to give you the feel of a pro.

1) U shaft.
2) Metal heat sink plate
3) Linkages
4) Upper deck
5) Lower deck
6) Third gene arms
7) Front upper arm holders.

Sorry just have a look at Yoko Special and pro 3 it gives you the same feeling when you drive it.

But you may need to pay 250 for yoko but you paid 350 for pro 3.

From what i know the pro 3 was started out as a sport kit. WHY?????

I have not own a Xray before so not much idea. But from the look of the car the performance from our local driver. It is a good car but no sponsor driver international. (I Think). But it is a car in kit form you will never need to buy anything else.
