Yeah, the trinity method did destroy most ppl's batteries, including 2 of the 4 I started with. Haven't tried them since then, but may try some HV's or SMH's. Yeah, a guy here runs his SMH's sometimes 4-5 times a day.

I use my nicads twice a day, only the practice ones though.

You can run any pack 4-5 times a day. As long as it has cooled off before you recharge it. The negative effect will be that the packs will wear out quicker but in some classes racers don't really notice battery performance as much.

I know that the oval racers are probably the ones that care the most about battery performance and they will do anything to keep their packs in top shape.

Danny/SMC: with new and better cells coming out monthly, who keeps a pack as the main race pack long enough for it to wear out anyway?

Now, considering I try to keep my budget reasonably low in R/C(about middle of the road) I am the first to acknowledge that people don't have to buy the newest cells everytime they come out, but come on doesn't everyone like to own the newest equipment.

I hope now that both Panasonic and Sanyo have High Voltage cells out, that things will slow a little in the battery department.

Not Stop! Just slow down a little. Same for stock motor development.

Danny- Thanks for all the info. I never asked a question because everyone did it for me. The cells you sent to Speedworld didn't last long. Once one racer ran them it was a mad dash to the counter. I haven't seen them run in mod yet but it was a night and day difference (punch wise) in stock. I'm waiting for my neighbor (Tom Englehart) to get some so that I can borrow his....hint hint Tom......LOL

We hope to have backorders filled out in the next few weeks. Right now were shipping every pack we can produce and spreading them to each of our distributors.

Harshguy: Have you noticed any performance difference between you first pack in the old shrink and the new pack in the new shrink ? I'm asking because I have changed my matching on the new shrink cells.

Danny, much more punch! I actually ran my best 2400 pack, SMH pack, 1st batch HV and new batch HV back to back and by far hands down the new batch HV had more punch. It maintained the same punch during the entire 5 minute run as well (I run stock BTW).
