Danny:

Hi,

I hear your going to be at Cleveland this year. I look forward to meeting you.

I find your posts about I.R. to be interesting too. as a "Team" driver was telling me that the SMH's were lower...... now I know the truth.

Thanks

Yes Cleveland has always been a race I wanted to attend and this is the year I get to go. Looking forward to meet new racers.

The Actual IR of the SMH's is still a little lower than the HV's but I don't think that comparing different cell constructions give the full picture. Two weeks ago I tested a pack of HV's that a mod sedan racer has used with a 7 single on foams and it checked it real good. The runtime was down 8-10 seconds but the voltage and A-IR was as good or better than when the pack was new.

So far our track tests have proven that they are the fastest cell in stock. Don't expect 2 laps but they are a bit faster than RC-2400's and SMH's.

Default S3000HV Cells

Danny,

Do you have any recommendations for charging the S3000HV cells?

Visit our website under the maintenance section I have posted what I have found out to work good so far but I'm always trying different things if we find out anything new we will update the info on the website.

If something isn't clear or needs elaboration you can post your question here or you can email me.

Danny,

Thanks for all the information you have posted.

On my local race here in indonesia there are a few brand of charger that is popular: Turbo 35BL and Protrak do you know anything about it? what about a charger from a german company Schulze ecoselect? If you have to picked 1 charger which one do you choose?

Danny, is your distributor in Indonesia is active? I would love to try your SMC cell!!

xray: If I would have to pick one charger I would go with the T-35 because it works great and it's very well built and rugged plus most cells are matched using CE matchers. It's got good adjustments and features.

I don't believe we have any distributor in Indonesia. Try emailing the [email protected] and see how much he can get you packs to you for?

Danny, when do you expect the Powers 3300's? I am interested.

BTW, I prefer the Schulze.

Protrak: Marginal build quality. Nice features... the best being the individual cell monitoring during charge and discharge. Software is updated too often, don't know whether it is to improve or to debug! Some software versions can be unstable. I would put it in the same league as the Turbo, but it is let down by the "handmade" feel to the unit!
