Questions?? recievers antenna issues

hi evryone,
i bought a new reciever for my tto1. its the airtronics 75MHz 3 channel micro reciever. the thing is the antenna is kinda long (15.5 inches long) and i want to mount it in a one specific spot on my car away from my motor, but the length of the antenna that actually sticks up is 10 inches. my question is can i stilll run it like that?

You shouldn't have any problems. Just make sure it is clear of the drivetrain and any hazards. If you have any glitching, you can adjust it.

suppose its 92826 75mhz reciever. Locate the antenna as close to the TX as possible, away from motor and ESC and battery connection. Excess antenna never trim it. Wrap excess antenna wire around antenna tube and use shrink wrap to keep it taught around the antenna tube.

On the Rx end, try avoid touching the antenna to car chassis. This is to prevent static build which cause your car to lose control due to movement.
