Default Getting rid of the Millenium, what charger now?

I sold my Novak Millenium 1.2 since I want to "Step up".

I found two chargers that really catched my eye:

LRP Pulsar Comp
&
Reedy Quasar Pro

I also looked at the Turbo 30, but im not really digging the tan case.

Which of these chargers do you recommend?

What other good chargers are there? It has to be less than 150.00 and Im on a tight budget.

Also, does the Quasar have backlit LCD? My club races at night, so backlite is handy.

thnx

I'd get the Pulsar, but the Reedy has a built in 7A power supply (if you didn't already know) but no backlit.

Thnx for the reply. My buddy has a Pulsar and it is nice. Is the run in feature really useful?

Reason why one of my choices was the Quasar Pro was because I don't have to haul a power supply around.

the run in is just a 2-7.2VDC output...useful for powering lathe besides braking in. The backlit is not switchable tho...it went on holiday after sometime..

Check out the new Pit Bull, should be out any day. Several Quasars at our local track have broken down.

My Quasar has been very good to me. I got sick of hauling my power supply too....At least until I buy a GFX.

If you decide to get the Reedy, just go with the Integy 16x7 instead. It's basicly the same charged but it has a 30amp discharge rather than 20 like the Reedy. I've got two now and so far so good.
