Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
You have no idea how long I have been trying to find this out.
Has anyone have any experince with these, are they good/bad/budget ect.. Basically if I was to turn up at a track (when manage to find one in s/e england) would I get ripped up?
Thanks again!

you'd be fine in terms of performance (assuming rubber tires), but you'd find durability an issue indoors. it's a pivot-ball suspension that likes to bend/break easier than the c-hub type suspensions we see now.
i would recommend getting your feet wet with it, and going from there. you'd be suprised how many nonsense adjustments our cars have today ...
if they don't make a spool for it, build the front diff w/o any balls and bind it down. and at some point, you may want threaded shock bodies to be able to even the tire loads across the car more precisely, but i'd say give it go.

I still have a sst99 pro in my stable. In my oppinion it was ahead of its time.
you may be able to still get an abs top shaft for your car. it was basically a one way for the layshaft. I will be using this chassis for rcgt. it is still one of my favorites. im working on a lipo saddlepack set up for it. most modern nimh cells are to big for the chassis slots. schuie still has some parts in inventory for them also.
