Default Team Epic Is alive and Kickin

I hope that all of you had a great Christmas! I did, except for being sick witha cold.

We at Team Epic are not going out of business! We have new product being released monthly. We have made the decision to part ways with Great Planes after many years together. Dont worry you can still get our fine products at Horizon, Stormer, A main, Superior, Hobby Shack.

If you notice we are the headlining main sponsor of the worlds largest R/C Race, and have been for the last 10 years.

So use your Red Dot, Sticky Finger, Motors and Batteries....well make more!

well im glad to see Epic is not going anywhere. I will say i have been dealing with Billy down there for about 3 months now and have nothing but good things to say about him and all of Epic's customer service! i also work for a HobbyTown and we sell alot of there itmes. i would say we see far less of there stuff come back then other. yes like they have said the pulse was a flop but they have been making good on everyone that has been sent in! and as i run for them local up here i can tell you so far my nemesis motors comes second to none. and ive tried them all. so lets stop to company bashing relize that they are working to make customer service and other things better! also if you think about it where would this hobby be if Trinity hadnt been around!

Ya don't say.

My buddy, Aaron V., of the Great Falls Posse has been waiting MORE than patiently for over a year now since he sent his Pulse in.

Customer service my a$$.

Trinity/Ernie P. were certainly a big part of this hobby's coming of age, but don't imagine for a moment they did it to be nice guys. Ernie made a darn fine living selling stuff to RC junkies and, directly and indirectly, kept a lot of people working. There was NOTHING altruistic in his motives whatsoever.

EV-10 was a link car, like everything else is now a days. Not sure if that was out before any of the CRC or Speedmerchant link cars though.

The EV-10 came out in the early '90's. I think Joel won the 1/10 worlds in '91 at the Ranch with it. There was even a prototype EV-12 that year at Cleveland - pretty sure that was before the CRC and Speedmercant stuff.

I ran a EV 10 and Ev 12 back in the early-mid 90's.They were wayyyyyyy ahead of the pack.Link front end as well as rear end.The side shocks were a pain -- as delta type shocks are.I wish I had my 12 now-I still have the oval car-EV10ss.Trinity was a MAJOR force in the beginning, and until a few yrs ago,a very good rep.But too many cust.service and dist. probs have changed many peoples thoughts on the co. , hope it will change before it's too late
And by the way--- I too have a Pulse 17.5 paperweight.

By the way the EV frontend was the Delta front end. It was modernized as it was Deltas independent front suppension .I just got rid of mine to Bob Stormer. Trinity (Ernie and Billy ) have been more than fair with me.I've know both for years!

Until LiPo's became prevalent, weren't most pan cars still running associated- based t-bars? I know speedmerchant/crc didn't, but the 1/10 oval cars sure were.

Also, didn't Hyperdrive start the 3-shock rear end?

No Delta had the 3 shock rear suppension in the 80's with the 1/12 super spyder! And then with the Super Villian 1/10th .
Links cars that Joel drove back then was also Composite Craft links cars.

Since Joel's name and cars came up I thought I would post these pictures. I know Bullfrog will appreciate them.

Was that in Orlando? or the year after? I'd have to look at my tee shirt collection to be sure. I just found my pictures of the Orlando nationals yesterday (indoors by the airport). Yes I did appreciate the picture.

Reno, NV. It was also Peak Performance's first race as a company. Rick won Mod, Tony Neisinger won stock.
