Trakpower, I'm not sure what Checkpoint is using for cells these days but I know they were just putting lipstick on pigs before. Trackpower makes good batteries, I've ran their 25c and 30c packs and have no complaints, I've since switched to Thunderpower and not looking back....

TrakPower all the way. Had thunderpower, even though they were great packs. I did not like the cheap case and external harnesses. Just adds to more resistance. The TrakPower dark series packs are better than my thunderpowers and they even feel higher in quality. I love the bullet connections.

The main reason I don't run them, the bullet connectors, different strokes for different folks I guess. I will say that with the tiny bit of wire and quality deans plug the amount of resistance in comparison to a bullet style pack would be barely detectable at all even with a multi meter, nothing you would ever notice on the track. With that said If I was gonna run bullet packs again it would without question be these tho. FlightPower makes a great battery.

The Checkpoint is a re-badged IP5000 40C which is the same Trinity/Epic and a few of the other brands use. Had the IP's since late spring and still run great! It seems there are a few OEMs and the rest just rebadge them. Unless you just want the Team Checkpoint or Trinity/Epic sticker just get the IP500040C which will cost you $20-$30 less.
