Questions?? need help with lipo charge settings

hi everyone,
i am new to lipo batteries. just bought two 2s 25c 5000 turnigy batteries for my tto1. i also have the onyx 230 ac/dc charger, but i didnt touch any of the charge settings and still charged it. im pretty sure the default charge set up is kinda crappy. what amps should i use from 0.1amps-7.0amps? and also there is some kind of self timer thing im not sure what that is but there is a settng from 0 minutes to 300 minutes or off.what should i do for that. and i want the best possible charge for a good run time and with the mosty power.
thanks evryone for ur help

Set the battery type to Lipo and charge it at 7.4 volts and 5.0 amps (or 5000 milliamps). You do not have to set a charging time.

After it has charged for awhile, the amps charge value should begin to decrease until the battery is fully charged. It will probably take over an hour to complete the charge. When done charging, you should not re-peak it. Just use it as is.

READ THE MANUAL. If you don't have one, here is a link to it.

I have to ask; didn't the packs come with any instructions?
I agree with PDX-Spike, the charger instructions will probably help to get things going.

They usually came with one piece of small paper with some warnings telling you to charge at 1C.
