Just curious, but does the 416/417 rear shock tower fit on the front bulkhead caps without modification/hole alignment?

Is the Zero top-deck and Zero S top-deck interchangeable?

Default zero s top deck

Jimmy mac...... I have tried the 's' top deck on the zero bulkheads, it does fit yes, but, u will snap the 's' top deck as it needs the mounting screws to be fitted as on the 's' motor mount.
where the mounting screw holes for the motor mount on the 's', is the weak point.
I broke mine in the 1st couple laps of the 1st practice using the 's' top deck
I have reverted back to the zero top deck.

Done the mod allready.
It makes setting up the car almost the same as a 416.
Yes it will fit if you open the holes a bit up.
Just a little tho
I have done it with the 416 shocktower.
Don't know if the 417 will fit
New rear arms are on it's way to me and i am waiting on the new dual steering setup.
When that arrives i almost got a "new" Sakura
Check the pics

regards Roy

You have to marginally enlarge the holes on the shock tower as the spacing is not exactly the same ...it is close but out by a fraction

Thanks guys for the info on the topdeck and shock towers. I'm just tinkering around with my Zero until my short arms come in. I was asking about the top deck just wondering if the cheap S model topdeck would be super flexible. But right now, I'm doing pretty good with the "hard" topdeck. I sold my "soft" topdeck to my friend because his was cracked.

As far as shock towers, I was asking because I was wondering if the front bulkheads fit in the rear. This would offer different flex characteristics for the chassis.

Not completely sure what you are asking. Looks like you used Google translate.

With the Sakura it helps to run narrow blocks on the rear . It gives extra rear grip
