Hi to all owners of Sakura Zero,

I would like to ask if this is a good kit for a guy like me who is planning to get my first pro kit. I've been reading from the start and a bit confused as there seems to be a lot of things that needs to be done before it can run without flaws.

Currently I'm bashing with TA05 with lots of hop ups. I think of moving into something more serious but after reading reading on until this page I'm not so sure no. Hope to get some input.

The guys which is racing or bashing around my area is using T3 so having support on parts if I get one is sole dependent on imports similarly with my TA05 coz the LHS here don't have much brands and even if they have the price is very much higher even comparing importing frm HK inclusive of shipping.

Thanks.

I have switched from a Xray T2009 to the Sakura and my spares bill has come down not from breakages but from the plastic stripping on the Xray. The Sakura is every bit as good as the xray for quality and at my local track I am going quicker with it than the Xray 09

Tamiya owners knows 3R Parts for Tamiya and how low is the quality of the Alloy bits...

This Kit looks Quite nice ,well priced to me but again Its 3R
What you guys think about the durability of the parts ?
I just sold my t3 and driving my old 008 at the moment very interested in this Sakura zero but not sure because I want to trust my car (like xrays) and Also dont want to see bended bulkheads after couple of crashes (famous 3r Alloy)

How does the car perform on Carpet ? or do you think Its mainly designed for outdoors?

Please guys Dont take me wrong I just want to collect some info from you sakura Drivers Thats all...

Hope to join you guys

Cheers

The car is great on carpet, I won with this car on its first race (indoor carpet) and my set up was all default as per the manual.

I also race it outdoors on tarmac. It also handle really good.

I too had the impression like you about 3R (using their stuff in Nitro onroad) but all I can tell you now that they are making quality stuff right now.

I live in uk
Postage+customs duty overall it will became a bit expensive than buying from uk shop...
I'm now worrying about lack of support and how long 3racing will supply parts for this chassis...
Mixed feelings about this pinky car
Cheers

Has anyone tried to fit xray parts to this car ?
Like front c hubs,rear uprights,front spool ,diff,suspension pins etc?
I can see many of the owners are selling their cars so interesting..
