Ran my Sakura in our controlled motor/ speedy 21.5 class last night.
First proper race night for this setup and it went well.

I ran soft rubber earlier , but once my warmers were going , I switched to T.O.P 36 No Mark premounts. This stopped the traction rolling altogether.

The car has awesome steering, but similar issues as mentioned by others, with the rear being a little loose in one tighter turn. I plan on trying the roll centre shims next and reducing front camber a touch.

I tailed the lead car in the final lap after lap, forcing a mistake. To then lose it back with a minor error two laps from the end. He win by a second, with me gaining ground back.
I set a new lap record with this chassis. I will go faster with Sorex next time and more tuning.

Fwiw, I was duelling with two Xray '09s comfortably . I will beat them next time....

add 6mm shim under the front inner camber link...
add 1mm shim for bump steer..

this both reduce the front steering and make it's more comfortable to drive ..

I have tested my car on tarmac for the first time today and it was very pointy but after moving the rear shocks up a hole too the second one in it was a lot better and more driveable

Guys with loose rear ends, try some 4mm hexes to see if it improves.
IMO the car is too wide, especially in the rear end, which makes it floaty on low grip surfaces.

What camber settings are you using ATM ??
I've got 2* allround and was going to try 1.5* on the front.....
Do you have shims under the lower arm holders ??

If i'm going to race Bobby again, I want to be charging hard the WHOLE track . I had to be careful at turn 2-3 . But it was awesome everywhere else.

Has anybody tried HB DCJ type universal on this car? Or will 3 racing make 'em soon?
