I have notice that the T3 is quite narrow out of the box, About 186mm. What do you think the differences are in changing track width?

Paul: what Front and Rear dogbone length do you prefer, 50mm or 52mm and do you think the same would be true for asphalt?

Their are a couple bobble heads around, so you would have to figure out where they are and steal one fair and squair.
for a head for your VTA car you would have to find a Brad Pitt action figure, nobody will tell the difference. LOl

Hi, I really like making the front wider. for me it just makes the car smoother and easier to drive without giving up any steering, normally i am 189-190 in the front and around 186 in the rear.

Hi Jay. On the old car i used to really like the 50r and 52front, but on the new car i like the 50's both front and rear. I have not had much asphalt testing yet so i cant say for sure. but i will start with 50's all around.

Lipo Question,

Currently running a Thuderpower 40c 5000 battery very happy with it lots and lots of punch though the whole run.

With this in mind have now purchased 50c 52000, also a iCharger 206B as this will allow more than 5amps charging..

Can you tell me what AMP's I should be charge my 40c and 50c at?

Thanks

I have a question for you.

Hello Paul

congratulation for your wedding, hope you and your family best of everything.

I was wondering if you had a chance to run our tires we sent you?

See you at NJ this year?

I charge all my stuff at 5 amps and have never had a single problem like that with a TP pack. but if i were looking for a little extra punch i would try 7amps, i dont think it would be a problem to do that or a bit more but its not recomended.

I really only run Asphalt a couple of times a year. so my info may not be as current as lets say maybe Jilles's suggestions. (if you ask him, please post it here )) lol ). I normally use yokomo tire warmers, and i like the trinity Tire tweak or the LRP Top grip Asphalt, the big thing with these "thick" traction compounds is to get the tires dry, you dont want to go on the track greasy.
so just a couple of drop's rubbed in with your fingers will dry very fast, where soaking the tire in it will take hours sometimes to dry. warmers will help the sauce absorb.

Hi John, Thanks.

I did try the tires that you sent, the ones that i ran were 36's.
I ran them at Trackside on carpet, they were Really good. I could only think of what 32's would do. but the wear was good and they hooked up really really well.

Paul,

On your NT1 do you run the 1 or 2 O-ring setup in the shocks?

Also are you going to the Motonica race in Vegas at the end of this month?

Thanks,

Hi Scott. I use the 1 oring set up, its a little scary in a nitro car because of the added weight and speed hitting the bumps on the bigger tracks but they keep the oil in really well for me. I dont think that i will be at the Motonica race, or atleast it hasent been talked about yet for me to go.

see ya!
