robert s.. I really like it.. I think my battery's have been way more consistent now and to be honest they are not losing the runtime that they once did.. I was losing 40-60 seconds with a new pack.. Now i am losing about 10 -15 with a increase in volts...

clinttredway.. Great news.. I think you will like it....

I meant to ask this earlier, is your snowbirds setup a good carpet starting point?

Mike. Grfeetings from Malta.

You sound a bit disillusioned about the TC3 lately. Your season started brilliantly but things weren't so good at the worlds warm up.

Are the new mods lined up for the Worlds going to help, or is it an entirely new car.

Certainly out here it is the car to have, if you want to race seriously. People have tried other cars and went backwards.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

clinttredway.. I would start with the us indoor champs setup.. That one is a bit easier to drive then the snowbirds... Snowbirds is a race that get's more traction then any other track i have been on also..

johnbull... Certainly not disillusioned about the car that is forsure... I have had a great indoor season but outdoors is a whole new ball game. I do not have a track within 5 or more hours of me to run on outdoors so i can not test at all.. The worlds warmup my car was very good. I was just testing more stuff for the reedy race then for the worlds. I used a spool and tried to learn about the car as much as i could.. I was very happy with it's performance... As for a new car part's or what ever. I do not think there is anything on the horizon just yet. If there is i do not know about it ....

Mike B.

on the novak discharge tray, are you traying them down to .90 per cell after a race?

What about traying them right before you charge them?
Basically what have you found that works the best for 12th scale mod?
Thanks,
Michael

Tempest2000......I usually tray them before and after i run them.. I do the .9 per cell on the tray.. I like it the best so far and the batt's seem to stay consistent... I do this for both touring and 1/12th scale...

Hope this helps..

Mike,

If you run Monster stock, I was wondering what spring and brush combo you use for sedan?

Hello. I got the hop fix on my 12th scale!!!
I went to a .063 T Bar, 3 screws, 40 wt. oil, and silver spring. Also, pinks were great. The last minute, even the last lap I could push it just as hard as the first.

Only battle now is to get 8 minutes out of a 10x1 PT. Only getting about 6 minutes. I don't think it's my batteries because I can run 9 to 9 1/2 minutes with my 10x2 and 11x2 KR's. Gearing about a 1.40 - 1.45 rollout.

Thanks for the help.
John

Yes, a little tougher, but the back of my car was hopping or chattering under power, going to the .063 stopped that.

Hi Mike,

I was wondering how did you came to that conclusion about the loss in run time? (cycle on a charger/dischsrger?) :+)

I would like to figure that out on my new cells also.

Thanks !

Keep up the good work
