Well how much will i need for a 12 scale? nuttin PERFECT but something that drives you know i have motor

You can pick up brand new 1/12 scales for around $225.00 or so, and used for about $150.00. If you go used and look at older models, be sure to research parts availability first.

Be careful on buying a used 12th scale. Sometimes you can get a tweaked chassis which will drive you mad trying to find the problem of ill handled car.

the crc genxl is the least expensive of the current 1/12th crop. And it's by far the most chosen chassis at most major races. on the CRC site, it's available for under $200. That's a real nice price and it's part of the reason why the cars are so popular. For the price, it's pretty hard to beat. And if you look at race results, it's hard to beat no matter what the price. Having said that, most all the modern cars are excellent.
