Just built this for our weekend meeting, very sexy.

thought we'd put T3 on the bench at the end of the straight... just to remind them to slow down just incase

Sexy, eh....

Not really doing my mojo any favours... but I am interested in what you have used for markings to get those nice smooth, square corner sections...

Looks great, The white lines (tape?) ever become a distraction?

Nahhh, we're hardcore, tape doesn't bother uss.. Rawrwrwrwrwrwrrrrrrrr

The corner pieces are the same as the pieces used for the straight just bent at an angle... all in the name of keeping the track as sexy smooth as possible

either the tape or the piping needs to be a different color IMO. That would distract me big time.

Track boards look awesome.. Can I ask, what is the material you used and how did you bend it so perfect?

I am assuming velcro holds it down, with it on edge like that, will it move easily if a car hits it?

Thanks

It's standard sized PVC drain pipe as far as I can tell (I didn't order it)... and whoever we ordered it from bent them to the angles we asked for.

They don't move easily no, only slightly.... the velcro on the bottom is rather narrow though and we've only put 2 12" strips on the underside of each piece, if we used some wider velcro I don't think it would move at all

Looking at the track you'd never guess there's a join in the pipe every 8ft... super sexy slick piping design...

Next stop, lots and lots of dots!

Looks good although a darker coloured tape would make life easier for the drivers

Is that CRC carpet? , and I agree I would use Black Hockey tape instead, has grip, and less distracting
