wow this is alot to read to get up to speed...thanks for all the input...Im coming to the race and was needing some info from the top...

Im running Sportsman 17.5...I normally run a "RCGT" body..is this a problem?..its normally slower than TC's bodies anyway...

also I wish we went with the USVTA rules to a "T"...I really think in order to show some difference in the racing...other than speeds, the head and shoulders need to be in the bodies...it will allow ppl to get used to the fact its in the rules and this track along with HH, are setting the standard as before...

will there be a thread limit on VTA tires?...we normally do 3 out of 5 threads have to show...maybe limit it to 4.....to keep it even

Is this a trophy race?

t-shirts and door prizes?

if adv esc are not allowed/turned off in VTA....will there be a way to tech this properly, for every round?

what type of race format?....Reedy. 3heats/main...ect?

what classifies you as "Sprotsman?"...is it up to you as the racer...or race director?

sorry so many ??????, wifey gave me early X-mas gift and is allowing me to attend both races,...2010 USVTA Nats....all that means is double shopping...lol...BTW...wheres the mall she said...?

thanks Mr. and Mrs. Battman

Hi guys,

I wanted to give everyone a few updates on the VTA Class and the Mini.

VTA.
We are setting a gear ratio of no lower than 5.2
No Turbo Boost allowed we will be teching this
Also No One Way's, this is what is run in the local area so we will be keeping this rule for the USORC.

Mini- Novak 17.5 motor only
No Turbo Boost
1300g weight
Tamiya Tires only

DARKSIDE: Welcome to the race. I will try and answer your questions.
Sportsman is for beginner drivers. RCGT body is fine.
Yes we will have awards, but no T shirts
AE Speedo is not allowed.
4 rounds of quals and Triple A mains. IFMAR Starts

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Also Corally Jack the Gripper and Epic Sticky Fingers will be the allowed tire additive.

Thanks
Scotty

Default Entry list

Even though a few racers have not sent their entry/entries in yet, post if you plan on attending the event and what class/classes you plan on running.
