Thats a big shock to me also! Do you know what 1/12th scale he will be using?

Sweet, he seems like a nice kid in the interviews and such. I'm pretty sure he's here on Tech quite a bit, hopefully we'll see him in the 416 thread.

Calandra, apparently the next BRCA 12th National (Tamworth) will see him debut it.

He almost looked like he was trying to remember what he was supposed to say in that video.

Tell me this is not true. This kid became internationally known after success at the 2009 IFMAR Worlds. First Groskamp, now Harper. Is Tamiya cherry picking XRAY drivers?

Maybe i'm wrong, but I thought usually 99% of the time, it was the racer that asks the sponsor, not the other way round.

Anything goes in racing though, so who knows.

Hope it all works out for him :):tire:

Hard to resist a better offer, I suppose.

I am pretty sure at that level it's the companies chasing the driver not the other way around. There's only three drivers on any podium and plenty of companies to bid for them.
