yeah saw those pictures already and as stated before the chassis is for two times 1s lipo pack (those that are being used now in 1:12). It seems you can't use standard saddlepacks as the chassis cutouts are not designed for saddlepacks, only specific 1s lipo packs.

A 2s chassis will be nice. My club has switched to 2s with 17.5 so they did not have to use all the speed control magic to get the speed out of them. The 2s 17.5 without software runs the same as 1s with 13.5 and all the latest software.

This class was meant to be spec and simple, with 2s people mainly started running it just to eliminate the receiver packs and make it easier on new people.

We had a discussion the other day, that if we could run a small 2s with 21.5 in 1/12 maybe the class would come back. It seems new people just want things to be easy and hate stuff like receiver packs and software around my area!lol

There's not been a lot of discussion about "World GT" cars here for a while. It looks like they've gone to 1S lipos--- so nearly ANY chassis would work with the lipo on one side and electronics on the other for balance. The motors are 13.5 with Tekin RS style of speed controls. THIS would be an AWSOME car to race!!! We're talking VERY reasonable to race over a LONG time--tire wear will be nearly non-existant--bodies will last forever---and all you'd need would be a couple of 1s cells and you're good to go racing for the weekend!!! CHEAP--FAST--FUN!!! A LOT BETTER than 4wd touring cars with all their parts--dual diffs--belts and expensive rubber tires!!! I'll bet these 1/10 scale pan cars will be QUICK too!! I'm going to get out one of my old 90's 1/10 cars and see how it works on carpet!! LET'S RACE 1/10 PAN CARS AGAIN!!! CHEAP RACING FUN!!

Default WGT

That what interests me in WGT. Low cost chassis, low wear, only one kind of tire, low breakage. No big technology battle.
