Default TBO3 spur question.

I am trying to switch over from the 06 module spur in the tb03 to the 64p spurs. My issue is I went ahead and ordered the spur from tower and it fits fine but the diameter is way to small. The pinion is still about a 1/2 inch away whith the motor as close as it can be. My question is what spur do I need to get? I try the TB03 thread but just seem to get overlooked. Thanks.

Hey, I went back to some of your earlier posts and it appears we may have steared you wrong. 64p is NOT similar to .06 module...its similar to .04. So, the 64p spur is much smaller than the 06 spur you're replacing given the same tooth count. At this point you'll probably have to go for a much larger 64p gear. I assume you got a 64p pinion also?

Thanks again EVO for replying. I did get a 64p pinion, a few actually so I am not happy at all. I am running a novak ballistic 8.5 which calls for a 6.5 FDR. I bought a 75T spur and 28T pinion both 64P. I am so sick of this Tamiya onroad thing already that this car will most likely soon be in the for sale section brand new never even had a motor in it yet. Body is all nice and painted Xanavi Nismo nissan just like on the box. I can't find the right parts in any local stores and it is way too frustrating.
