help diff ? carpet racing XTM xcellerator
offroad carpet racing I have a XTM E x-cellerator I'm using for indoor carpet racing The diff burnt up after about 10-12 cycles on a 2cell lipo. I'm using a traxxas velineon brushless system 3500kv stock spur(?t) and pinion(18t) I have the slipper tightened up about 75% It's a ball diff I rebuilt the bad one and bought a spare for when it goes again.
Here is my question: How do I get more life out of the diff? Should I tighten it up, lossen it or just leave it? What would be better for carpet conditions

always make sure that you slipper is in fact slipping, it will save your diff. Also, if you are using stock diffs balls, try out some ceramic diff balls, the ones from protek(amainhobbies) cost about the same as standard steel and should make your whole diff last longer between rebuilds.
