Default What Electronic speed control to go for ?

I am going to be racing an MI4 with Lipo and brushless system and thinking of running modified class.

Which Speedo to go for ?

GM, LRP, KO, TEKIN OR SPEED PASSION

I like the look of the SXX TC, is this any good, is this the latest or is there somethink newer on the market ?

whats your budget ?

Tekin RS and RS Pro are very very NICE but also VERY VERY expensive

Speed Passion For the money you get a lot as long as you stay in the GT Pro series.

I have not used any other beside those two
and the Mamba Max Pro, whichs is probably the most bang for the buck, but I am still playing around with it to get the right settings.

If you're running mod, you don't need the speedo of the week. Find one that is engineered well (won't die) and has good customer support. Any of the ones you listed are good. You'll get a bunch of bias so I might as well throw in mine.

I'd go either SXX or Tekin (RS Pro is you plan on running 5T)

If it modified then really don't need the "best" speedo. If you need more speed you just throw more motor at it. The AE BD would definitely be overkill in mod racing.

For spec racing (regulated motor) this may be true.

The OP is going to run mod, therefore the AE Black Diamond is not an advantage.

Plus, it's not real easy to get your hands on one these "mystery boxes" either.

I am running the GM genius series, good support, here in there thread were a team driver helps out, and on there own home page, with the designer of the speedo answering questions on there forum.

I don't now the prices in the US, but the gen120 is bulletproff for mod racing.

Schumacher sells them and I think there $400 too like the Black Diamond. I would get a Sxx TC. I had one and loved it. Only sold it because I dont run mod anymore.

For $399 it better make me dinner too. Give it 6mo and the others will catch up to it.
