Anyone know of any aluminum rear uprights that can work with the 211? Or if Fujin plans to make one?

Could somebody tell me if the Fujin 211go or TRF416 could use the same diff as Sakura Zero?

In fact i really wonder use that roller diff of Sakura in the Fujin 211go.

It will drop right in, but may need a bit of shimming since the Sakura is about 1mm narrower in the bulkheads than a 416/211Go. You also need to replace the front pulley with a 38T one from the Sakura - the 416 and 211Go use 37T pulleys.

I guess Sakura use 37T and 38T pulley as well.

Thanks for reply!
Does gear diff fits in 211GO, without using smaller spur gear to avoid touching diff, isn't it?
If you are running gear diff in your car too, could you tell me how much weight oil you are using in the diff, then tell me also what size and traction is your track, please?

Best regards

Hello,

i'm after a 4wd mini. Is the Fujin 211go a good performer? Is it still a valid and reliable chassis?

I'm asking because i have not seen a single review for the Fujin, and this thread is not very active...

Should I look somewhere else? Like Active Hobby A210ss?
Or should i wait for the Top Racing Mini Sabre?

Thank you.
Mattia.

This car is a real performer. I was the first one who had it and everybody's jaw fell to the ground when I could keep up with the 1/10 touring cars with the same power plants.

You definitely wont regret it.

Thank you old-man for your reply.

Since you have this car:
- can i fit the following lipos: 138x46x24.5mm and 139.5x47x26.5mm
- can i use 1/10 touring 26mm foam tires?
- what motor do you recommend? I have a brushless 8.5T (4000kv) lying around, is it too much?
- any part particularly fragile?

Thanks.
Mattia.

This may be a strange question, but would this chassis work well in a 2WD configuration?

I only ask as I will be soon racing in a series where the mini class has a '2WD' rule, but no restrictions as to FWD or RWD. I just wondered if the Fujin, if setup for just front or rear drive, would be competitive against a dedicated 2WD mini chassis, like the M-03, M-05, or Xevo. Those chassis' have the motor front mounted (especially the Xevo) to aid front grip, but as the Fujin's motor is mid-mounted, would it be compromised too much by making it 2WD?

Seems like the stock C Hubs are a bit brittle on this car. Has anyone found a alternative for a more durable C Hub?
