what is the best way to see how balanced it is tweak station?
If your chassis and lower rear pod have holes drilled for the center-point of the car you can use the IRS or Xray balance buttons. I have a set. Come find me at the next race. I have plenty of extra 7 grm weights as well if you need to ballast.

You will need model S905 (they have 3 types)

I purchased mine from Hobbycity. I was supprised that they had them been a US product in HK.

so finished my wiring so far, will post pix when 100% done, ran 13g tq wire to 1c lipo and 16g tq wire to my 13.5 motor, i heARD, MOST LIKELY A RUMOR...ooops sorry 4 caps, but if one of the motor wires were to run a 13 gauge to the 13.5 ,and the other 2 the 16 gauge, wich terminal would be chosen, running 16g tq wire to the other two...if answered properlly i heard correctlly,if not was bummed steeered...car looks pretty good, just waiting on the crimping tool i ordered to shorten the servo lead wires/esc wire/transponder wire..will post when done, this should be my cleanest 1/12 ever...stoked!!!!lovin 1/12 this is my break from 1/8 onroad, and more or less semi new with 1/12 so its a learning curve for me...

Here is my 1st ever 12th scale 12r5 with LRP SXX Comp. Speed Control, LRPx11 17.5 BL motor, SMC 1S Lipo, Novak 1S Lipo Smart Boost, and DSM Pro Micro Spektrum Receiver SR3500. I really hope that Iíll learn to drive these things somewhat decent. These cars are amazing loving it every time I go out to practices. I also airbrushed the body and that was a 1st as well. I think it came out okay for the 1st time paint job.

Body looks great! Is that reinforcing tape on the inside of the body (to make the grill?) If so, that is brilliant! I hope it doesn't add too much weight to the body.

Hey thanks Steve, actually itís not a reinforcement tape. I used the small fiberglass tape from inside and painted it with silver and black to get that effect. Unfortunately red color was a little too transparent thatís why it shows from the outside. So I really donít have anything sticking to the body.

Here's mine.

CRC Gen XL, CRC (TQ) 16g wire, CRC (TQ) soft sensor wire, JR 3650 servo, KO 408S Rx, Tekin RS (with 203 firmware, wow!) and Redline 10.5, RC Dynamics booster with built in switch (review at www.carsrcracing.co.uk), SMC 4900 LiPo.

No shortened wires, just tried to keep them tidy. Side to side balance bang on. There is 20g of weight on the car too to make minimum weight but you won't see it!

Here's mine new XL. Just wired it up a couple days ago. I'm running a Tekin RS, Futuba 9650, Spektrum SR3500 Reciver, Reedy 4600 40c 1cell, and a Thunder Power 250mah 7.4 receiver pack.

TQ Wire throughout. 13ga. to battery leads, and 16ga. to motor. Weighed it at home on a personal scale, and came in around 725, so i'll be adding a tad around the receiver pack to balance better as well.
Sorry about quality, it was taken with my phone.

Picture from last week, different receiver pack. (Better quality)
