you're probably talking about what's called "plow discs," they're used on tow-behind tractor plows. plastic ones don't/won't stay down, I don't think, you need metal ones.

check your local farm/ranch supply store

Tim, tamiya ones are part number 53190. It's discontinued on Tamiya USA. You should check RC champ in japan. Give them an E-mail at

When I started my track I tried the plastic "roaddomes" they were white with red stickers. We ended up having a lot of duct tape on them to hold them down. After that I went to CO-OP and purchased used 14" plow disks for $1 a piece. I never had one move after that. Unfortunately the CO-OP is no longer carrying used farm equipment, but you might still be able to find them.

I would like to know if the Integy ones work well though, they look like they should be better than the plastic ones I had.

yeah, the plastic ones I've seen move or require a lot of duct tape to keep in place. Just a mess, would like to hear if anyone's experience is different.
no need in buying new/sharpe ones, our club just bought some metal plow discs from a local farmer for $1 each, I guess they replace them each year or something since they get dull. the metal ones sure don't move, and it keeps people from cutting corners ca-ching

Our 4 plastis ones work fine, we put velco on the bottom and they don't move at all. Most Farmers now take their old used Disks to the scrap heap as they can can get more for them there.
the roaddomes might work need to look into them... Thanks

The integy discs are really similar to the Tamiya ones. They will need some velcro or duct tape to keep them in place. Road domes launch cars, they have too steep of a shape. The integy dots slow the car but don't get them airborne.

We are going to order 5 to see how they are, in the picture they look like a round flat dot where the Tamiya ones come up about 1/2 inch.
