Default FDR dor a JRX-S

I just picked a JRX-S Pro, and I'll be running 17.5/2s. I don't have manual yet and have no idea where to start on gearing, and I can't get the manual to load up off of losi's site. I'll be running on a small tight asphalt track with a 80' straight.

That car has the same internal as the Type R. So you can get FDR from that manual since it should download for you. How are you getting the Lipos to fit in that car since it was not designed for Lipos? I have seen guys hack the hell out of it to fit a lipo and I don't know if it is really worth it. If you are using soft case lipos that will work unless your track requires you to have a hard case which most do.

The internal ratio is 1.83. If you never get the manual in your hands, the Type-R shares many components and even if the parts aren't identical, the assembly is nearly the same (suspension, layshaft, shocks, etc.). You can fudge your way through with that manual.

On the topic of getting lipos to fit, the JRXS thread has a few examples of lipos that fit with a bit of dremeling. Avoid the bigger cases like the Yeah Racing 3200 "stick pack" style hard case, as these require a megashitton of dremeling.
