Battery tape or strapping tape. A piece of double sided tape underneath makes it doubly secure.

I'm about 2 days away from ordering one of these. I was looking at the manual and I see it has a servo saver with removable splines. Should I use a Kimbrough or is the stock one fine? Also trying to decide between a 1s booster or receiver pack. Is there plenty of room in the chassis for the receiver pack? (I have a Futaba micro receiver and Tekin RS going in)

I dont see anything wrong with the servo saver... Youll be fine using a Tekin RS and futaba receiver w/ a 200-250mah life or lipo pack.

Cool. I'm ready to get a s120lt and start 1/12 racing.

Anybody know the length of the turnbuckles?

I read the kingpins are weak. What about the optional titanium ones #411106?

I would have on hand a kimbrough just in case. This is from a bad experience from the original t plate s120 I had. the servo saver that came with my s120 have play and I was playing with the trim all the time during the initial run of the car.

I've never used the servo saver that came with my LT since I can't be bother with having another faulty one so a kimbrough was used right from the beginning.

Regarding the kingpin, i bent both but that could just be my driving. I guess having the titanium would help.

No experience with booster pack or receiver pack, can't help you there.

For kingpins, you are way better off using a 5-40 tap to re-tap the holes in the steering blocks and get yourself some CRC 1/12 scale kingpins. I've been running the same kingpins for over a year now. The Serpent ones tend to snap right where the threads end, causing you to replace the steering block too. The CRC kingpins just bend, so you can reuse the steering blocks. It's way easier to find CRC kingpins rather than the Serpent ones.

it would seem like the booster is less reliable than a battery but i have yet to replace a booster.

I am having a pitboard made and can have a gear chart engraved on it. Wondering what are the spurs/pinions range that will actually fit this car. I am running on a small track ozite carpet track in 17.5 blinky class (currently) I know the CRC guys are running 72/40. I will use gearchart to make it but it doesn't allow me to choose which spurs. Only a range. I know through that range some of those spurs are not made...

Hello guys, How do you free up the lower a-arm pivot balls on the S120 front end? They are very tight fit on my car even without installing the 2.5mm screw and lock nut.

Maybe its something that needs to be worked out within the tightness of the plastic.Sounds like a one off error . I am going to start building the kit tomorrow and will let you know how it goes.
The fit and finish of the car looks really good . I can't wait to give the car a try.
