Gearing for LRP Eraser Stock Spec 13.5T?
Currently, I have this motor with an LRP AI Reverse brushless ESC. My gears are set for a final gear of 5.07. After a 5 minute race, the temp is at 120 degrees. I would like to increase the speed my car by lowering the final gear to 4.85. Is this a possibility or is it going to over gear the motor? I would appreciate any input.

I found on the Novak gearing website that the Novak 13.5T can go down to 4.5 for final gear. The difference between this motor and my LRP is in RPM and Watts. The Novak is 33.00 RPM, 195 W and my LRP is 20.880 RPM, 160 W. With this difference could I still go down in my final gear to 4.87? BTW, I use Orion Lipo battery 3800mah/30C 2S, in case, that makes a difference.
