need to know what type of f103, circa, and can it be updated.

looks like an F102 with Benetton wings. not sure what parts are interchangable with the F103 tho. possibly rear pod and ball diff.

Does that have a gear diff or the ball diff? cant tell from the photos.

Yes, its a F102. If you look, there is a thread on them, and a great picture set with that body about 3/4 down on post 8 of first page.
