Agree there, at least that's how it was years ago before I got out of the Hobby. I fried 2 Tekin ESCs after switching from a Novak, and I owned Novak from there on out with no problems. However I did have some Tekin chargers besides my Turbo Charger and they were great. When I got back into the hobby a couple months ago I wasn't exactly shocked to hear Tekin had gone under.

I understand that financial miscontrol was the cause of Tekins decline, that the money the company had was used for other business. I don't think they went bankrupt just closed. But this was just rumours. Who knows how much is true. If it's true that Tekin is coming back I'll look closely at their products when shopping for new items.

I really agree on this.

How did you find www.teamtekin.com ?

This site is not coming up anywhere on search or in print. Did you stumble onto it or do you know somebody.

PS It appears that Tekin is returning because the site was just updated.

I wonder what happened to Kevin Orton, the former owner and lead designer?

This is very interesting, I have a few speedo's I would LOVE to get repaired, and look very forward to seeing new Tekin products. Let the competition...uh...Continue?

Sounds good.... I was dreaming of a G10, at the time they shut down, but dropped it due to no repair options

If they are indeed coming back I hope they can still support the BC112 charger Series since these can still compete with the newer chargers... I still rate them at par with the Novaks and Pitbulls.

People would stop calling my beloved BC112C "old school". A new case would certainly help

Just e-mailed them. When I hear back, I'll see if they want to get involved on rctech.

If this is true I will be going back to Tekin again. Man I really like their speedo's. Best ones for me. I want another G12.
