Default Schumacher mi3.5 pro questions

I just got my schumacher today and figured out my 3s 5000mah lipo battery wont fit in the chaise. and my 41t 48p pinion gear dont fit with the stock spur gear. to big. a little disappointed. but anyway dose schumacher have any kind of upgraded chaise or part that will give my battery more room? or will i have to find another way to fit it in?

and what schumacher spur gear would fit good wit a 41t pinion? the stock spur gear is a 89t. maybe i have to sacrifise some speed and get in the 30t range. i have a mamba max pro 5700 combo

3s with a mamba? no TC's are designed for 3s lipos, but you can tape it in, just rest it next to the bulkhead it will be fine.

I don't know the 48p sizes, but if you go with a smaller spur you can fit a smaller pinion, but you should really do the math to figure out your gear ratio so you don't melt your motor.

thats kinda dumb. why wouldn't a tc racer want to have the option of dropping a 3s lipo in his car. but yea i figured i'll have to just fit it in there somehow.

well i got a 20t 48p for it. but i just lost a hell of a lot of speed. im not expecting to go fast at all with a 20t pinion on a 89t spur gear. but speed it what im looking for

because its not legal for any TC class of racing, all lipos need to be 2s.

Sounds like you need something in the 30t range on the pinion.

Why would you file on the parts of a nice car?

That's pretty goofy

In terms of spurs - Schuey has 89-87-85t and 74-70-66t 48dp spurs for their cars.
Honestly if you want to race, then get 2s lipo. 3s lipos are used only by bashers or 1/8 offroad drivers.

Then run 2s Lipo. It's more power then you will ever need, and with that 5700 Mamba you should easily be able to get it up to 50~60kPh. Plus, if you find you want to run in an organized club, you can go and run Mod without needing any new equipment.

This is something that I'll never understand. 65 or 70 Mph is not even a usable speed unless you are a top level driver. Going that fast on anything that is not preped for racing you are just asking to turn your car into an airplane. Speed runs are great for impressing people, but not much else.
