Futaba 3PM-FS FM synthesized Radio

Saw it today in the Tower Hobby flyer for $189 and $219 with servo. Has any one got the low down on this?
Good? Bad? Indifferent?

Thanks

lol you gave me the initiative to go and look at it, and while I was there I found out that there's a synthesized module for the 3PK, so that's what I was thanking you for.

Default Futaba 3PM-FS FM synthesized Radio

Guys;

The 3PM does indeed look like a nice Radio. I wish I had known about them a few months back. I especially like the 10 model memory.

About 4 months ago, I bought a second 3PDF(X) as a back-up Radio and this thing has been wraught with problems. It is currently heading back for it's second warranty rapair of the same problem.

The 3PK is a nice Radio, but WAY more functions than I would ever need or want.

Man, going off of Tower, the synthesized 3PK TX module and receiver costs more than the 3PM controller w/ receiver

Does anyone know if the 3PM will have what the 3PK manual calls subtrim?

Default Synthesized Futaba 3PM-FS

Is anyone using the synthesized 3PK TX module and receiver or the Futaba 3PM-FS and can tell me what there experience has been?

Or can anyone tell me what the experience has been with Sythesized Tx/Rx in general?

I am getting tired of going to larger events that have no controled practice and waiting forever just to get a few practice runs in. Short of purchase all the freq crystals in existance, I thought I might try the sythesized radio.

Thanks
