spaz456: I run the T1 on carpet. Bought the C-Hub conversion from Buster. On the setup board using a Futaba S9402 I get 22 dergees of turning. With the C-Hub I get 33 degrees of turning. I run the C-Hub front, rear is to low on T1, 1.5mm clearance. To date I have broke nothing in the last month or 2 months on asphalt. I bought the impact bumper, and transponder mount initally along with hardware kit and bumper. I want the spring steel hubs and a EV2 Just need $$$$ Double on the weights. I have every hudy weight on car to make T1 legal.

If you want more lock with the standard pivot ball setup then you could always simply dremel out the sides of the seatings for the pivot balls in the hub carriers.

This works with the pivot ball front suspension on the Mugen XR Works.

Thumbs up Great!

I think it's great to read so many enthausiastic reactions in this forum on theXRay. It still is a very Europea car and I found that the US car preferred the Losis en the Associates for this reason and because it is so easy to get the parts!

Do not forget that in case you are an XRay driver you will get access to the MyTSN XRay VIP room which really gives a lot of iformation, a lot of times direct from either Mario Hudy, Tony Vredenberg (a Dutch XRay top driver) or guys like Buster!

Does anyone in the USA know of a hobby shop that has a Xray evo 2 in stock and that would be prepaired to ship it to the UK? I would also like to get the c hub suspension setup as well.

Thanks
Rick

The driveshaft can bend with a hard hit......but if you tap them back to approx. straight and continue running...they will striaghten themselves out- completely!! I still run the original driveshafts on mine....thats the beauty of "spring steel"!!

1. Front hubs (although I have never broken one)

3. Rear body mount
4. Upper foam bumper plate (graphite)
5. Wheel bearings
6. Rear A-arms
7. Shock bodies

Thats really about it!

6 and 7 will only break if someone smacks you from the rear. 2 and 3 will let go when you go for a heavy 'roll'- you can prevent this by running 2 pieces of rear damper plate bonded together- incredability strong!!

Heres a piece of useless info!!!.....just installed my C hub kit...with all that Alloy was expecting it to be heavier...to my surprise the C hubs came in 6g lighter than the original plastic!!

However, that may be because I was running steel axles on all 4 original hubs, but with C hubs I am running 2 alloy and 2 steel!!
