thats right, at the start its always the right rear wheel and the left front wheel thats heavy, i just hgave to turn out the shock collars on these diagonals, and increase the preload on the opposite diagonal, LR-FR, and voila ! i got 50_50 cross weight, 50-50 L-R, and 50.3% rear with saddle packs.

I considered the saddle pack , but didn't opt for it since I'll use my batteries in a Xray T3 '11 so I can pass it along ...

That's the thing. You can stick two saddle pack cells together and voila! You have a normal battery! Doesn't work the other way around though.

Why not just run the pack across the chassis... and you will still have the pack for the T3...

well i got the first one about 5 years ago to use as a drifter
then i got another almost new T1FK, then i got another FK with a load of spares cheap, then got one for free with a broken chassis then i saw the gold one on ebay & had to have it
surprising how quickly they multiply

well here is my embarassing admission!
even though i got my first T1 around 5 years ago none of them has ever turned a wheel since getting them!
i usually race 8th gas offroad but have been doing some tenth offroad as well which takes up quite a lot of my freetime plus i do photography on weekends when i'm not racing as well as spending some weekends at the beach house with my girlfriend! so basically thus far i've never gotten around to using them

you could always design by reverse engineering and creating CAD drawings ,then getting a machine shop to make parts for you, i would not do that for arms, shock towers and chassis, but other stuff, yeah, i made my own diff outdrives, cost more than the original but the satisfaction was wayy worth it !
