Nope not a single belt as the drive train required to much modification and they wanted to keep some parts compatible so other people can still upgrade there T1's to the new spec.

I received a reply from Mario and he stated the new suspension will be optional parts for track conditions that call for them. He did not mention a new kit.

Well he told me the new suspension parts were optionals, if they are not optionals but for a new kit, I am selling all my XRAY hardware. I don't see a reason for releasing a new kit while the present kit is fine as it is.

I understand the EVO2 is built around some of the new optionals and is still a pillow ball suspension. NNick had already indicated that below. Team XRAY has updated the VIP room and the EVO2 is proudly displayed there.

I wonder what my LHS is going to do with the six or seven previous kits they have on their shelves. I bet they don't order the new kit.

To be honest, I don't consider the EVO2 to be a new kit since the car is comprised of parts already known to us as optionals. What would have set EVO2 apart from the present kits is the new suspension system currently in development and soon to be released as an optional.

RCCadet, I hear ya. If I get one it would be for the chassis and a few other things I DON'T have, not because it's a "new" kit. I plan on running the car for at least 2 more years so the . I can't see any manufacturer topping the list. Of course that is MY opinion, (I've tried them all) plus I like the way the car feels and it suits my style better then the rest.
