Wow, did not know Delta got rid of their Xray parts. I remember seeing parts on the wall for it last fall. That was a long time ago anyways...

Guess scratch the Xray off the list.

I guess I will drive the Pro3 for now. (Getting a deal on one.) And probably wait for some special edition XXXS and get that.

RCCadet, the Pro 2, the only complaint were the aluminum CVD's bent easily when I brushed a board slightly at the track. Other than that, its one tough car!!

Stormers and Buster carries XRAY parts. Buster may have the larger stock of XRAY parts.

At Delta under new ownership, all Serpent and affiliated company stuff is being dumped. Maybe new owner is on bad terms with Serpent USA?

PM me if you want to talk some more Dan. You can drive my car if you want.

Were the alu CVD's stock on the car? I can't recall. I never broke a part on the Pro2. I only upgraded the springs and that was a very tough car!

Dan, I am real happy with my X-Ray. I have that, TC3 for TC Oval and a MTX-2. Car runs great right out of the box and is real durable. However as mentioned parts are scarce. I get mine from Buster, he has a nice selection. The availability is why I run a TC3 in touring oval not my X-Ray.

Go to the XRAY site and view the pics from the Swiss race, specifically Chris Grainger's car. You will see the new front and rear hub carriers.

It's a bit hard to be sure from the picture there, but it does resemble a c-hub with an upper camber link.

I wonder when the parts will be available...

Don't know when they will be available but they do look good! I like the finish the prototypes have currently.

Default New X Ray

Today i have had a look at the new front end on a x-ray team drivers car and it comprises of new lower wishbones, stearing blocks, shocktower and caster blocks.

The driver mentioned that the arrival of the new car was imminent and that the new front end will not be included in the kit as it is still been tested, but he said that he felt it was a vast improvment over the old front end. The new kit will however include the new rear shocktower, blue sealed ball races, new top deck, possibly the 6 cell chassis and the new bulkheads.
