hrm, cool. Yea as in grinding down the shock mounts on your arms so you can use the outer holes. but i guess you dont have it done.

im gonna try this.... right now!

Ya i have not dremeled the arm to go to the outter hole. I like the inner one. I am gonna try it for the first time this week and see how it runs

Ya i am sure, if you dremel the arm it will even out the angle. (More vertical) and then you can go to the outter hole.

yea for sure. im interested to see what this will do for handling. I would dremel my mounts, but i dont have a drill bit small enough to make the remaining holes deep enough

btw jon, you reffered the shock's mounting as like the rdx's. as the pro2's would be a better example

From the setup book: Harder damping - less grip but lower
chassis roll. Stability is decreased,
but high-speed cornering, traction
permitting, is increased

Hi there, has anyone fitted tamiya's trf shocks on your xray? Are the shocks a direct fit or are there any mods needed? Thanks.

AS from what i have heard, tamiya shocks fit fine and work very well with the car. I usually would stay with the Xray ones since they are fine also. But if you feel like hopping up to a tamiya shock set they should fit.

Here's my FK with TRF shocks. I forgot what parts i used to make it work. Those are Xray springs on the shocks.
