Look on xrays website, there is a setup for rubber on carpet by Hudy. I heard it is really good.

The problem you are having I think is the collar on the end of the sway bar that needs to be adjusted. Just unscrew it and mov eteh sway bar through that collar til the collar is all the way on the end of the sway bar and that will keep it away from the drive shaft.

I have some slop on the front right arm on my FK. It moves slightly forward and back, enough that it makes a clicking noise. I checked all my other arms and they are fine. It looks as though i could use a 1mm shim in there, but the manual says there shouldnt be on there. Is there something i have done wrong during setup?

Hi,

I have a BMI tower I think it has the same width as the ultra tune lower CG and 3.0 thick so more stiff. However it has less holes than the ultra tune. It is brand new never used. Price is 25$.

I am running a T1 factory kit and am experiencing some vibrating and chatter while turning. It appears as if my front tires are rubbing on the shock collars which are team tamale aluminum lowering collars. I don't want to reduce dual rates because I like alot of steering. Is there a quick fix for this problem that won't limit my steering?

i think the chatter in the wheels is more that you have extended the steering linkage to the max of the arc of the servo saver. if you are hitting the shock retainer, then you are definately over extending the linkage.

Does anyone know if the Xray 3.5mm chassis #301111 is ok to run on a bumpy asphalt track? I like it because of the way they moved the batteries forward and the servo in but I dont want to pay almost $100 and not know if it will even work.

What we have found is some of the rims are a little wide on the inside. What we do, and this was recomended to me by Ralph Burch at RC America is when you true your foam tires, take a hobby knife or a tire file and with you tire truer running, cut or grind off about .5-1 mm fo the rim on the inside. This doesn't really have any effect on traction, but will give you a little more clearance when running the lowered spring collars. I hope this helps.

this is what i use on my x-ray now and it is dialed in on asphalt track on rubber tires.
