put the car down on the ground and punch the throttle. If you hear it slip tighten it a little. I usually run them tighter in mod than stock. Adjusting the slip just depends on feel. It should have some resistance when you hold the tires and move the spur.

I just got my xray T1fk running and i must say, this thing really puts the power down compared to my tc3. On my tc3 i had to put my steering up to 100% for it to turn well, and when i put it in my xray, i had to turn it all the way down to 55% to not even spin out! So i must say, what an amazing car. My only question is what is the differences between running the 48 and 64 pitch gears?

What car are you going to run next? I'm thinking about ditching my FK, want to get an idea what everyone is going into.

Im finding the same thing. My old xxx-s had enough steering for me, but my evo2 has a ton more than i expected.

64 pitch is a much finer gear, allowing for greater adjustability.

I can get you Xray FK parts- what do you need? PM me- I'll hit you back tomorrow. Gone to bed....

You can't put holes in the top of the shock like a Yokomo because they have bladders in the top. You would only be releasing the trapped air that makes the bladder do it's job.
