I don't know why you would want to do that, but yes you can, although the rear looks like it comes close if you were to use the lower holes when adjusting the anti-dive, and also the rear downstop screws just hit on the edge of the chassis, but they should be ok.

Can someone with the BMI 350 chassis measure how wide the chassis is where the droop screws sit in the rear. My screws sit too far out on the chassis an it makes the droop setting inconsistant. So I have to use internal limiters. I don't know if I have and old style BMI chassis or not.

You have one of the old ones but I dunno how wide it is. I got one of the new ones and I have close to 2-3mm on the out side of each droop screw. What is nicer is that the whole chassis is a little narrower.

It will go on but needs some massaging to do so. I know alot of the guys here were trying to run the short arms on their T1R chassis and they had to grind away at some of the ribs so that the hinge pin mounts could be mounted low enough. Hope this helps. I dunno why anyone would want to replace the CF chassis with the tub since the CF chassis is stiffer. I would suggest the BMI 350 chassis. Stiffer and enhances the performance alot more.

You can try downloading the stock set up for the EVO2. Its a very nice starting point and you can move on from there.
I usually start with a stock set up whenever i am at a new track and make the necessary changes to suit my style of driving.

the BMI 350 chassis is the same wide as the factory stock chassis. The droop screws sit on the very edge of the chassis. But that is not the problem you are having. the problem you have is that the droop screws are on the opposite side from the shock mount. This creates a twist in the rear arm. The arms are relatively soft and flex. with the heavy springs we are using on carpet, you will get un-even flex of the arms every time.

There has been a revision to the BMI 350 chassis which will give the chassis a little more meat in the rear. But your will still see the same problem.

Post BMI .350

As posted earlier..the BMI .350 chassis is now 4mm(2mm+2mm) wider in the rear than before. The chassis is now also, 4mm NARROWER throughout the "middle" or where the battery slots are located. This was a running change and every BMI chassis from here on out will be the same.

Not sure about having the inconsitencies with the new chassis. Since switching to the narrow version I have not had any problems or diffrences in my droop settings.
