Default Xtreme Racing and BMI CF Chassis Kits

Someone asked a few pages back about the Xtreme Racing CF Chassis kit. After reading the good things about the BMI Chassis I was about to order one until I saw an Xray FK with an Xtreme CF chassis kit in RED on Stormer Hobbies websight. Does anyone know about the quality of the Xtreme kits?

to me it just looks like a standard chassis but with 2 battery slots taken away on each side and is red.

the upper deck looks very similar to the FK one

rear shock tower is just a red evo2 one, the front one looks similar to the new xray one and the battery straps...well they dont make any difference anyway but they got 2 holes drilled in them (not the big ones, the little ones )

and its nearly twice the price of the BMI one..and you know how many people say the BMI is a good chassis...i;m thinking about getting one for my self.

i have a xtreme chasssis on my evo2 and i works great on asphalt but if you plan to race carpet go for the bmi. im about to buy a bmi myself when i start my carpet racing. i know the xtreme looks sweet (and it sure does). but always go for the better handling. that is if you plan to race it,

I have an Xtreme chassis on the way and I run asphalt. Have you guys noticed any performance gain from it over the stock chassis?

You wanna go with the Xray XRC 3.5mm chassis, if you race carpet. Hands down!

JD,

I went with the BMI and am very happy that I did. You cannot go wrong with BMI's customer service!
