I talked to them on Monday, and the people at customs had started removing the textiles from the rest of the parts. Hopefully only another week until ordering begins.

Too bad for me since i have been waiting almost 2 months for my items. I bought them in End of August.. But i think i got enough spares until my others arrive.

After Xray is back up again, i think everything will work out perfect. Keep it up XRAY!

Well yeah, it's been awhile....

Hopefully my local shop is getting those parts they'd ordered... before they run out and have to wait for another shipment....

Pretty much the only thing I'm after is the new rear roll center pieces.....

Forgive my ignorance, but what have textiles got to do with model cars? If im not mistaken textiles are just paper and cardboard, are they removing all the paper and cardboard from the kits? Im not trying to stir s**t, i just dont understand what they are doing...

I believe, in this case, that textiles refers to pit towels, shirts, caps, etc...

Could be wrong.

Could someone clarify something. I heard from a hobby shop in TX that Horizon Hobby is now the distributor for Xray products. This news is recent and would like to hear if any of you guys have heard anything regarding this?

According to many, including XRay's own website, RCAmerica is the new distributor for XRay products.

They're rare because XRay has switched US distributors from Serpent USA to RCAmerica. RCAmerica's shipping containers full of XRay kits, parts, and accessories are being held in customs for inspection. Once that's over, parts and such should be shipped out to hobby stores.

textiles do refer to pit towels, shirts, caps, etc...

If they are produced overseas and come in some large quantity they are subject to extra duties, tariffs or taxes depending on the country of origin in order to protect American textile companies.

The EU and USA and always in a tiff about items being imported/exported.

If you know anyone who is into model trains, ask them about the debacle between something about importing of bananas and Rivarossi Model Trains. It actually took some US Senator to fix the problem so that the model trains could be imported again.

FW05R - I've heard "in about a week." But, I've heard that for about three weeks now.

Fair enough. So, hold the textiles and let everything else through
