I was told by the start of next week, RC America will get the kits. I will be testing the car on carpet during that same weekend, and will post what I come up with..

The Fk I'm buying has the auto belt tensioner installed. Is there any disadvantages to using the auto belt tensioner?

Well I finally had a chance to drive the T1 on carpet, and I have some real nice impressions of it,real smooth, rides on rails. and has a real good feel to it and this is coming from a racer with 5 or so years with a TC3.....so any questions?

Ya added friction to your drive train.

One of my Xrays is a FOC which is gradually being upgraded to almost FK spec. It has a BMI chassis and short arms, as well as BMI FK shock towers and some other bits and pieces.

I thought I would try the new roll centre mounts for the rear shock tower. My question is, do I need a shorter turnbuckle when using these mounts or do I have to mount the upper arm in the outer hole on the upright? Can't adjust the camber correctly as it is now.

Thanks in advance.

What you'll need to do is cut about 3mm off one of the ends of the turnbuckles (the ones that come in the factory kit). I think they are the same length (30mm) as the evo2 ones.

I just bought an Xray T1 evo 2 upgraded to have the c hub suspension. Does anyone have a good starting point for a carpet setup and what gearing to use in 64pitch for stock.
Thanks

for setup it depends on tyres and how much grip the track has.

also, how big is the track?
