Default A feel-good post....

Hi guys, just want to say that i couldnt be happier with the way my FK handles right now... this car is amazing!!!

My 1st ever mod race with it, i TQ'de and won...in the same week, i also won in 23t class. 6 races - 5 TQ's - 5 wins and a 2nd place finish, running the car in mod and 23t classes. I seem to like the car more in mod racing, super smooth and very quick off the mark (quicker than some Shaft drive cars at our track)

happy racing

I believe there IS a difference between long and short arms. I do not own the EVO 2 FOC but have driven my friends car. My first impression is that the FK difinitely transitions better. Also, we have setup his FOC with a slightly harder suspension setup compared the FK to handle fast chicanes better. Both cars perform very good though....

Sorry if I was a bit vague. I have a Factory Kit... I'm looking for the graphite lower deck from the original T1 - the one without all of the battery cut outs on it.

Rob,

Better off looking into a BMI chassis. It does not have all the cutouts in it, and is 3 mm thick. BUT, all the bulkhead spots have been milled down .5 mm so roll centers remain the same. It is VERY stiff. Comes in black, blue, titanium, and now gold, too. Send a PM to protc3 to get one.

Congrats to Alex for taking home the stock national title. There was a large amount of Xray's in the A stock and 19T.

Hi, has anyone snapped a diff outrive on their fk yet? This happened to me the last race and i'm wondering if xray sells just the pair of outdrives or do i have to get a 1 whole new set of ball diff.

Also, is the xray 3.5mm chassis available on the market yet? i hear it is the same as the BMI .305 chassis. which is better? I tried the Xray site but no luck. A link would be nice, thanx in advance...

Are you sure you didn't snap the screw?

Hi Neil, its not the screw, its the actual alu outdrive where the universals go into.

That must have been a one in a million part. I can understand if the part bent, but it is hard to believe that it snapped. Perhaps Mario on myTSN.com can help you out.
