John, try to stick with a manufacturer's oil. I know everyone has oil from different companies, but usually a car works best with it's OEM.

What type of track do you run on? Prepared asphalt? Parking lot? High grip? Low grip? Tell me about it.

We race on a proper built asphalt track on a farm chickens & ducks everywhere(track fenced off thank god)
Have a look at pic link
Very fast open track in stock you are looking at 18 309.00 in mod the big guns do 20 305, grip is fine as is the track owner
It`s not dead smooth so white springs are the norm on a yoke they are pinks or green, so it`s on the soft side, oil is around 40-45wt, When i run my stock(monster)it is usaually around 6.09 & with that i can crack 18 309(track record is 18 305) this was with my Aeast yoke so i waiting in anticipation what the X-ray will do this will be the very first time it will be run

Wow, looks like a nice track. I don't blame you for putting your rear shocks in position four! What are the track and air temps like there?

Hi Guys,

A couple of guys including myself have had the standard layshaft bearing sieze within weeks of the build. Has anyone else had this problem?

Also... does anyone know the size of this bearing as I have to order another one and the X-Ray site is down.....
