Ray is correct, do what he said.

Only thing I can add is to check ride height before you start with droop screws, then after too,
thanks guys,

I am setting droop that way, but was on the way to checking equal droop with droop guages when I notice the flex. I usually remove the lower spring mounts when I check for equal droop on both sides. and that is when I saw that the arms were being flexed by the spring preload.

So I assume sands, that the arm flex is normal?

Yup, more so with short arms. The droops screw location also creates a week spot in the arm. You'll notice that that is where most of the flex is.

0.5 mm of lift is about a 1/16th of a turn on the droop screw - very sensitive!

Aftermarket chassis for Xray ?

Anyone who could tell me the difference in the following aftermarket chassis for Xray:

*Xtremeracing ( I like this, just becaus of the blue color )
* BMI ( just black, color )
* Warpspeed ( also, just black )

Are there any that can recomend a chassis for me, I race on carpet indoor, using high traction rubber tires.

Or have any had som problems with any of this types of chassis ?

@Tor-Erik: Halla, åssen går'e??

The Warpspeed is delivered in blue, the BMI I think can be ordered in just about any color, and the last one I haven't seen

The BMI is a 3mm thick chassis and I think a 2mm toplate. It also move the batteries in closer to the middle on the chassis and I think also forward just a little.

The Extreme is colored and everything is pretty much like stock setup but you can get colors.

Not sure on the Warpspeed.

For me I think the BMI is the nicest overall.

the BMI is a 3mm chassis and top plate.the batteries are moved forward 1/8 inch for a little more front bite and toward the center 1/16 inch.it is incredibly stiff.i also offer front bumper brace and shock towers.i will be making the new style shock towers real soon.all chassis are available in blue,black and titanium colored carbon fiber.
here is a pic of the black with shock towers,bumper brace,chassis and engraved upper brace.

Will the batt slots be angled to fit the batts? Great looking chassis and towers. Love the bumper brace.

Default xray chassis pricing?

That chassis looks awesome! I wanted to get an idea of what the kit would cost (chassis/upper deck/shock towers/bumper brace) and how long it takes to get a kit from you. Thanks

@ Martin Sorlie : Joda alt OK her i Indre ser'u

Ad. color on aftermarket chassis, after talking with the people at Warpspeed ( makes only black chassis now, and blue are sold out ) BMI also only makes black chassis

I am wondering about buying the new Factory car, maybe I should just try the stock chassis before I buy me an aftermarket chassis.

Default Bumper Upper Holder

Hi guys, i just broke my 2.5mm graphite bumper upper holder (301212). I am thinking of replacing it using the composite one (301217) that comes with the T1 Raycer kit. My question is: Are they compatible? Or are there any other stronger aftermarket options to recommend? Thanks.
